Successful third edition of MAFEX - Maghreb Food Exhibition in Casablanca (December 2014): number of exhibitors doubled since 2012
The international trade fair MAFEX – Maghreb Food Exhibition took place 11-13 December 2014 in the Moroccan city of Casablanca organized by I.E.C. Maroc and IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH and standing under the patronage of the Moroccan Ministries of Agriculture and Economy.
The third edition of MAFEX was held together with PACK2PACK organized by the Egyptian based Nile Trade Fairs (Cairo).
120 exhibitors from 14 countries presented food and halal products, machinery and equipment for processing and packaging, refrigeration and storage systems as well as ingredients and additives in Casablanca.
With a doubling of the number of hibitors in only two years, the fair has consolidated its position as an important event for the food industry in the editerranean. 2,200 business professionals visited MAFEX-PACK2PACK coming from 21 countries.
Highlights were the five national pavilions (Egypt, China, Germany, Poland, and Turkey) and the conference organized by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) and the National Office for Food Safety (ONSSA).
